Combo Cameras
45SF and 23SF
The Cambo SF series are compact,
monorail view cameras offers a full range of perspective and image control movements to
handle even the most demanding assignments, and yet are small enough to take with you
anywhere. Both the Cambo 45SF and the 23SF are portable, light weight, yet rugged. They
include convenient base tilts and substantial rear standard movements, these cameras are
perfect for any large format location shooter. All controls and locking knobs offer
single-handed operation for quick and easy use. Compatible with complete Cambo accessory
system and are easily and adaptable to a multitude of formats from medium format, to
panoramic, to full 4x5. 45SF includes a depth-of-field calculator and can be folded flat
for carrying. At 9 pounds, this camera is a bit heavier than other similar designs. It is
made of metal and offers full front and rear movements. Bellows extension is 2.8''-14''.
It accepts full range of Calumet accessories.
23SF View
Camera
Medium format
with complete perspective control

Unlike typical medium format systems, the Cambo 23SF offers substantial
image controls, including convenient base tilts (±60°), front and rear
swings (±30°), front and rear lateral shifts (70mm), front and rear
rise/fall (83mm) and a 14" (35.5cm) monorail with unobstructed standard
movement and geared fine focusing on both standards up to 40mm. The rugged
metal standards and monorail provide plenty of stability whether you’re
shooting in the field or in a studio. The 23SF is simple and quick to adjust
because all controls and locking knobs can be operated single-handedly.
Weighing in at just 8.3 lbs., (3.8kg) the 23SF is also
a perfect backpack companion. There’s no need to lug around a heavy tripod,
a bunch of film holders or a bulky battery pack.
Roll film enlarges beautifully and is considerably less expensive than sheet
film. And, with a variety of roll film backs available, you have a choice of
6x7 and 6x9cm formats for 120 film.
In addition to the luxuries of perspective control and
roll back film, Cambo engineers created a 4x5 adapter kit which converts the
23SF into a full large format view camera. It’s like having two fine view
cameras in one! Finally, for those pursuing macro photography, choose from a
variety of convenient monorail extensions which can be inserted into the
existing rail for continuous close-up focusing. Includes front and rear
standards, interchangeable bellows, 14" (35.5cm) monorail, mounting block,
ruled ground glass and three-year warranty. Lens, lensboard and roll film

Cambo Legend Series

These solidly designed and ruggedly
constructed view cameras are a popular favorite in many of todays large catalog
studios. The Legends all-metal, U-frame standards are among the most rigid ever
designed and capable of flawless performance. Rack and pinion rise and fall, lateral
shifts and fine focusing provide precise image control. All movements are calibrated for
quick reference and easy repeatability with convenient zero-position detents. The
Legends standard two-section, split monorail allows for convenient storage. Combo
legend series provide a short (10") section that is perfect for wide angle work.
Cambos add-on monorail extensions offer quick and smooth transitions from close-ups
and macro work to wide angle views and everything in between. Extensions can be added or
removed conveniently, without dismantling the camera, and they provide uninterrupted,
full-length focusing.
The Legend pc models feature yaw-free
base-tilts which allows the table-top photographer to level the cameras pivot point
while shooting, as they often are, with the camera inclined in the downward position. All
Legend series cameras feature standard axial tilt controls and a convenient depth-of-field
scale which determines the proper focal point and computes the optimum aperture required
to match the sharpness range you desire.
