Konica Minolta's
Anti-Shake technology shifts the CCD to compensate for the
vibrations that occur with handheld shooting. This includes gradual
body movements and fine hand movements made when taking telephoto or
macro shots. You get clearer, sharper shots, and can shoot with
shutter speeds up to 8 times longer than with digital cameras
without such technology. Anti-Shake also helps you capture finer
images when taking movies.
Angular velocity sensors detect camera shake and the SIDM actuator
shifts the CCD vertically or horizontally to compensate. You get
clear, beautiful images without having to use your tripod so often.
The DiMAGE A200 is effective against a wide range of camera shake.
This includes subtle, high-frequency shaking, low-frequency shaking
caused by large body movements.
The DiMAGE A200 is equipped with 3 AF Area modes (Wide, 11-Point
Focus-Area Selection, and Flex Focus Point), two AF modes
(Single-shot AF and Continuous AF), and Full-time AF. Simply choose
the one that best suits your conditions. You can also use Direct
Manual Focus when you need even greater precision, like for
portraits and macro shots, by turning the focus ring after the AF
looks on the subject.
With its 8.0 megapixel resolution, the DiMAGE A200 is a remarkable
photographic tool. Create subtle, expressive images. Take rich,
beautiful portraits of people you love. Capture landscapes in
breathtaking detail. The large, 2/3-inch CCD provides intricate
detail for outstanding, photo-quality 300-dpi images at almost A4
size (27.6 x 20.7cm/10.8 x 8.1 inches).
The all-glass GT APO lens system uses 2 molded-glass aspherical
lenses & 2 AD glass lenses to minimize flare, chromatic aberration &
image distortion. Combined with the 4x digital zoom, this gives you
a maximum 28x zoom.
The 1.8" Vari-angle LCD monitor rotates 270° vertically and 180°
horizontally for easy shooting from high or low angles, and combined
with the wireless remote controller self-portraits are easy. When
you're using the electronic viewfinder, the Vari-angle LCD monitor
tucks safely away to prevent damage. The Real Motion monitor shows
images at a quick 60 fps for smooth viewing.
The wireless remote control adds convenience to both shooting and
viewing. We selected manual operation for the 7x optical zoom on the
DiMAGE A200 to give you the exact angle of view you want, quickly
and easily. The DiMAGE A200 turns on the speed when you need it to
capture a dynamic moment at a sporting event or the fleeting
expression of a child, for example. You can shoot 8.0 megapixel
images with continuous shooting modes; at a rate of approx. 2.0 fps,
& appx. 2.3 fps in High-speed Continuous Advance mode. For even
faster shooting, UHS mode boosts your rate at 10 fps.
Checking the histogram of the live LCD monitor image gives you an
idea of the overall brightness of the scene. A new Portrait mode
with precise skin-tone reproduction has been added. |
