Linhof Master Technika 2000
4x5 Field Camera

The Linhof Master Technika 2000 is the latest
variation of the classic Master Technika. It is
supplied with either a chrome plated body housing or
a black finished body housing.
In place of the Master Technika's built-in
rangefinder a wide angle focusing system has been
built into the camera housing. The wide angle
focusing system on the 2000 accommodates lenses from
35mm to 65mm without the need for other accessories.
Lenses longer then 65mm are used on the extension
bed tracks. The 2000 can be used handheld with the
Multi-Focus Finder which zooms from 75 to 360mm and
comes with a rotating 4x5" mask. Masks for smaller
formats are readily available. The optional
Anatomical Grip for the left side features a
comfortable adjustable strap, a cable release and
the grip easily adjusts to the most comfortable
position. Also available is a Right Hand Anatomical
Grip without strap or cable release. Focusing Scales
and Infinity Stops are available from service to aid
in hand held use.
The Master Technika 2000 has geared front rise as
well as front tilt and swing plus shift. The back is
equipped with the Linhof Folding Focusing Hood and
has tilts and swings. The front drop bed has 3
positions and the camera has a triple extension bed.
With its ultra-compact housing measuring only 18x18
x 11 cm / 7x7x4.5 in. the Master Technika can easily
be carried and set up on location. Its rugged, yet
lightweight die-cast aluminum body perfectly
protects all vital parts including lens, bellows,
groundglass and the sophisticated adjustment
mechanism. |
