Metz 44 MZ-2 Flash
EXTREMELY VERSATILE. In
combination with the
corresponding SCA adapter
the mecablitz 44 MZ-2 can be
used with almost any analog
SLR camera as well as with
Minolta, Nikon, Olympus and
Sony digital cameras.
The powerful compact
Auto-zoom model (GN 123) can
be used in either TTL,
automatic or manual flash
mode, and features a number
of interesting special
functions including daylight
fill-in flash in to brighten
up very dark shadows. Rear
curtain synchronization is
important, when wanting to
control the blurring effects
of the subject in an action
shot. Additionally, it
offers (provided that the
function is supported by the
given camera) Advanced
Distance Integration (ADI)
flash control, multi-zone
flash metering (Minolta),
matrix-controlled fill-in
flash and under-exposure
indication in f-stops
(Nikon), monitoring preflash
