Konica Minolta Maxxum
Flash 5600HS D Series
The
high-performance features of the Minolta Maxxum Flash 5600HS D
series include: manual flash control, multiple flash, ratio flash,
modeling flash, and low-battery indicator. It has a fully automatic
flash sync with speeds all the way up to 1/12,000 seconds and gives
you flash coverage ranging from 24-85mm focal lengths. The 5600HS
provides you with TTL flash metering as well as automatic shutter
sync with flash-ready and exposure confirmation indications in the
camera's viewfinder.
This bounce flash rotates its head
up to 90 degrees vertically, 90 degrees clockwise, or 180 degrees
counterclockwise. To give you even more creative control, it tilts
its head by 10 degrees downwards for high-quality images when you
shoot close-up photography. The remote sensor function of the 5600HA
works when it's used with the Minolta Maxxum 7 as an off-camera
flash. |

Konica Minolta Maxxum
3600HS TTL Shoe Mount Flash
Minolta's new 3600HS flash is
especially designed to ensure highly reliable metering accuracy when
used in conjunction with the ADI (Advanced Distance Integration)
flash metering featured in Minolta's new lenses with distance
encoders and the newly-introduced Maxxum 7 SLR camera. This flash
unit provides flash coverage ranging from 24mm to 85mm focal
lengths, and further extends to the 17mm focal length with a
built-in (or included-3600) wide-angle adapter. This flash unit also
supports versatile remote flash photography with Wireless/Remote
High-speed Sync when the units are used as an off-camera flash of
the new Maxxum 7. The 3600HS allows fully automatic flash sync with
speeds all the way up to 1/12000 seconds. With High-speed Sync,
photographers can take full advantage of a large-aperture lens with
a shallow depth of field in daylight flash photography. Additional
attractive features of the 3600HS(D) include an AF illuminator which
links to the Minolta Maxxum 7's central three-point local focus
areas, low-battery indicator, bounce flash with an indicator lamp,
and Custom Functions for additional creative options. The 3600HS(D)
provides a maximum guide number of 36 (in meters, ISO 100) with
sufficient power to photograph subjects of 85 feet (26m) away (using
the AF 85mm f/1.4 G(D) with 85mm flash coverage). The automatic
power zoom covers from 24mm to 85mm focal lengths. In addition, the
included Wide Angle Adapter provides extended coverage for the 17mm
focal length. |

Minolta 2500HS (D)
Maxxum Flash with Case
The
compact Minolta Program/Maxxum Flash 2500 (D) is a new member to
Minoltas powerful line of Maxxum flash units. This affordable flash
unit is characterized by powerful, automatic performance and is
compatible with all Minolta Maxxum Single Lens-Reflex (SLR) film
cameras, the Minolta DiMAGE series of digital cameras including the
new Minolta DiMAGE A1 and DiMAGE Z1 digital cameras.
When used in combination with
Minolta’s D series lenses and Advanced Distance Integration (ADI)
compatible camera bodies such as the Maxxum 4, Maxxum 5 and Maxxum
7, the new Minolta Program/Maxxum Flash 2500 (D) uses the
sophisticated ADI metering system for controlling flash exposures.
With conventional flash metering, dark or highly reflective subjects
can deceive the metering system and cause over or underexposure. To
reduce influence from subject or background reflectance, ADI
metering uses distance information from Minolta D series lenses with
TTL (through the lens) metering to control the flash output.
The Program/Maxxum Flash 2500 (D)
has a bounce flash head that can be tilted between 0 and 90 degrees.
This can be used to create soft, indirect lighting in interiors by
reflecting the flash off the ceiling.

Metz 54 MZ-4C TTL Shoe
Mount Flash for Konica - Minolta Digital SLR Cameras.
The new Metz 54MZ-4 is a special
version of the company's 54MZ-3 series flash that's been
specifically designed for Minolta Digital SLRs. And because the Metz
54MZ-4 is D-TTL compatible, it will provide functionality based on
the specific type of Minolta lens used. The 54MZ-4 has a built-in
secondary flash that can be used as fill to produce wraparound
lighting when the main flash, with its built-in tilt/swivel
function, is bounced off a wall or ceiling. The main flash's Auto
Zoom feature works with lenses in the 24-105mm range, producing a
Guide Number of 177 (feet) at ISO 100 at maximum zoom setting and a
Guide Number of 131 (feet) at ISO 100 at 50mm. This new flash unit
retains the user-friendly operation control panel of the 54MZ-3 and
offers nine different Automatic settings and well as a variable
Manual mode, offering ratios down to 1/256th power. The 54MZ-4 is
user-friendly with only two buttons, and a single thumb wheel
controls the logically arranged menu system. The illuminated LCD
panel is large and easy-to-read and only displays the pertinent mode
information. Special features of the 54MZ-4 includes the display of
focal length for the lens in use in the LCD screen. This display can
be adjusted from feet to meters, or to various film/digital formats
for standard 35mm, APS "digital", 645, or 6x6. Other features are
auto flash bracketing, auto shut-off, and lockable keypad
eliminating accidental setting changes. |
