Il s'enfiche à la place de la poignée et se fixe sur la barrette porte-accessoires ou sur le pied. On peut l'utiliser également en télécommande avec un prolongateur. Avec le clavier, il est possible de régler certaines fonctions de base du boîtier, au besoin de les modifier et de les déclencher. Dans plusieurs cas, il permet même d'étendre certaines fonctions du 6008 integral.
