Speedotron

Light Units

Speedotron offers seven different light units. All light units come complete with flash tube, modeling light, 5/8" stand mount and 20 foot connecting cable.  "Q" models feature quartz flash tubes with greater amounts of power.  All Brown Line units are available with standard or color-corrected flash tubes. Speedotron light units are rugged and utilize modular construction for easy storage and travel. They are available in clear or color corrected flash tubes, fan-cooled and come with a bright 250 watt model lamp (except the 103B model).  All light units are cabled with the new locking/quick release power supply connector.

Power Packs

Very rugged and reliable with heavy-duty rocker switches and locking/quick release light unit connectors on the outside, to the proprietary circuitry on the inside. All seven Black Line power packs, from the ultra-compact 400 watt-second 405 to 4800 watt-second workhouse 4803cx, were designed, to provide this unprecedented, proven performance.  Speedotron Brown Line's wide range of power supplies, light units, and light control accessories allow you to cast a broad, virtually shadowless light; highlight one small detail on a set; or cause an object to glow of it's own accord.  

Dyna-Lite

Power packs

The M500XL power pack

Dyna-Lite's smallest power pack is a portable and affordable. 500 watt/seconds of total flash power with five f-stop range and a Variator to provide 1/3 stop fine tuning. Modeling Light Switch has three-position light control; full on, off, or direct tracking. Flash head fans always run at full speed regardless of switch position. Weighs only 4.2 pounds. Has a footprint of just 5 5/8" x 5 7/8" and stands only 5 1/4" high, including the handle.

The M1000XR power pack

1000 watt/seconds of total flash power with five f-stop range and a variator to provide 1/3 stop fine tuning. Two full/half/quarter power switches provide seven basic power settings from 125 to 1000 watts/seconds. Motor drive shooting, up to 4 frames per second, is possible at lowest power setting. Tri-color L.E.D. Power Indicators shows how much power your pack is set to deliver. Red, orange and green lights indicate full, half and quarter power, respectively. Dual slide switch modeling light dimmer controls, with color-coordinated panel markings that match the full/half/quarter power switch L.E.D. indicators. Separate position allows you turn off the modeling light without shutting down the flash head cooling fan. Weighs only 6.7 pounds. Has a footprint of just 5 7/8" x 6 7/8" and stands only 6 7/8" high, including the handle.

The M2000e power pack

This compact, lightweight power pack satisfies the most demanding studio or location lighting needs with 2000 watt/seconds of flash power, a five click stops range with the Variator to provide 1/3 stop fine tuning, and an audible ready indicator. Two full/half/quarter power switches provide seven basic power settings from 250 to 2000 watt/seconds. When used in combination with the Variator, you get 15 different power settings with a single flash head. The two Flash Head outlets on the top provide up to 1000 w/s of symmetrical/asymmetrical output per channel, while a third outlet on the rear of the pack provides 2000 w/s. All outlets are arc protected so you can connect and disconnect flash head cables without shutting down the power pack.

The M2000XL power pack

2000 watt/seconds of compact, lightweight flash power with all the latest "XL" series features. Includes a five f-stop range with a Variator to provide 1/3 stop fine tuning. With a footprint of just 67/8" X 9 1/4" and standing only 8 1/4" high. ri-color L.E.D. Power Indicators shows much power your pack is set on with red, orange and green lights indicating full, half and quarter power. Four Flash Head outlets on the top panel with up to 1,000 w/s available. A fifth outlet on the rear of the pack provides 2,000 w/s. All five outlets completely arc protected. You can plug and unplug flash head cable without shutting down the power pack. Dual slide switch modeling light dimmer controls, with color-coordinated panel markings that match the full/half/quarter power switch L.E.D. indicators. Separate position allows you turn off the modeling light without shutting down the flash head cooling fan.

Jackrabbit

Get portable power and performance for on-camera flash with the Jackrabbit pack. Although it is the smallest high voltage power pack, it comes loaded with high performance features. 400 full-power flashes per charge, 1.3 second recycle time, 100% silent operation, dual power outlets, low battery warning indicator and sturdy belt clip plus shoulder strap D-rings.

2040 Blower Cooled Flash Head
This 2000 w/s flash head with built-in reflector makes it easy for lighting people or products, in the studio or on location.

040 Blower Cooled Studio Flash Head
This 2000 w/s bare bulb studio flash head increases the efficiency of your soft box and accepts a variety of reflectors for different lighting effects.

080 Bi-Tube Flash Head
Use the two pigtail power cables to connect this flash head to two power packs for up to 4000 w/s. Or connect to one pack to reduce the flash duration.

4080SP Bi-Tube Sports Flash Head
Similar to the 4080 flash head but specifically designed for sports arena lighting. This head features two custom 4' power cables and a polished 40-SP40 40° long throw reflector.

Monolight

The AC/DC powered Uni400JR
The Uni400JR is a compact, high performance and reliable monolight. The Uni400JR weighs just 3 1/2 lbs. and packs a 400 watt-second wallop. Plugged into an AC outlet you get a 1.4 second recycle time at full power (400 w/s). Full, half, quarter, and eighth power settings in 1/3 stop steps provide a four f-stop range. Full tracking quartz modeling light, and a built-in slave-eye. You can have the power of studio quality without an AC power source. Connected to the Jackrabbit high voltage battery pack, the Uni400JR can be used wherever you go. With a freshly charged pack, you can achieve 75 full-power (320 w/s), 150 half-power and 300 quarter-power flash.

The New 250 w/s AC powered Uni250R.

With all the AC features of the Uni400JR, this monolight boasts an incredibly fast flash duration, and a correspondingly lower cost. The Uni250R weighs just 3 1/2 lbs. and provides plenty of power for the small studio, or supplemental light in larger setups. Full, half, quarter, and eighth power settings in 1/3 stop steps provide a four f-stop range. Full tracking quartz modeling light, and a built-in slave-eye. A full range of accessories offer even more control and versatility.

Novatron

Fun Kits

The Fun Kit is the most popular kit in the Novatron line featuring 240 watt-seconds of power, switchable to 120 watt-seconds. All components are fully compatible with all Novatron systems. This kit is available with or without a hard case.

60-V400-2C MiniPro Kit

The 60-V400-2C is a MiniPro Kit. This kit offers 400 watt-seconds of variable power with the compactness of the 240 Fun Kit. Unlike the Fun Kit, the MiniPro Kit includes the same light stands and umbrellas found in the V600 ProKits. This Kit Includes: 400 w-s Power Pack, Std. Flashhead, 3-Way Flashhead, 45" White Umbrellas, 10' Light Stands, 15' Sync Cord, Carrying Case, AC Power Cord.

10-240

The 10-240 Power Pack is the most popular of the Novatron Family featuring 240 watt-seconds of power switchable to 120 watt-seconds. This is an economical unit for both professionals and serious hobbyists who want an affordable, compact power pack. This pack also makes a great auxiliary light source when slaved to a larger system.

10-V400

The 10-V400 is a variable power pack. This unit offers 400 watt-seconds of seamless variable power over a three stop range or down to 1/8 power with the compactness of the 10-240 Power Pack.

10-V600

The 10-V600 Power Pack is for the most demanding professional. The V600 is rapidly becoming a standard in the wedding, portrait, and commercial studios. The V600 provides variable power up to 600 watt-seconds. This power pack is just as capable as Novatron's larger packs.

10-1000VR

The 10-1000VR Power Pack has voltage regulation and misfire features as well as a light output of 1000 watt-seconds switchable to 500 and 250 watt-seconds. 10-1000VR has .75 second recycle time at 250 watt-seconds, and 3 second recycle at 1000 watt-seconds. This power pack is next to the top in terms of power, second only to the 10-1500VR.

10-1500VR

The 10-1500VR Power Pack is the performance flagship of the Novatron line. This is Novatron's most powerful pack delivering more light output than most 2400 watt-second systems. Its three-way power switching provides 1500, 750, or 250 watt-seconds. The power pack is equipped with voltage regulation and the misfire alarm functions as found in the

Monolight

The M300 Monolight has two power ranges 300 and 150 watt-seconds of variable power. It features all the same controls found in the Novatron Power Packs except the power and modeling light controls are variable. The modeling light switch permits constant full modeling light output at any power setting or the choice to have the modeling light "Track" with the flash power selection. Choosing different power settings while in the "Track" mode automatically changes the modeling light output when different flash power settings are chosen. The M300 also includes an internal slave triggering device that can be switched on or off. No added wires are needed while using the slave function when the main light source is a Power Pack or when your shooting with a few Monolights. It comes equipped with a 700 watt-second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K) plug in type, 150 watt halogen modeling lamp, 18' power cord, 2032 Reflector, and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand.

 

Flash heads

2100-C

The 2100-C Standard Flashhead does not contain any controls to ratio the power or the modeling light. It comes equipped with a 1000 watt second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K), 100 watt tungsten modeling lamp, 15' power cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand.

2105-C

Same as The 2100-C model, except the 2105-C has a 25' power cord.

2110-C

The 2110-C One Stop Flashhead contains two controls to operate at full power or ratio the power and modeling light down one stop (-1) or turn the head completely off. This flashhead cannot be used in the stopping mode by itself. There must be another flashhead operating at full power or damage to the 2110-C will result. The 2110-C Flashhead comes equipped with a 1000 watt-second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K), 100 watt tungsten modeling lamp, 25' cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand.

2120-C

Similar to the 2110-C model, except the 2120-C has two Stop Flashhead and contains the controls to operate at full power or ratio the power and modeling light down two stops (-2).

2140-C

The 2140-C 3-Way Switching Flashhead contains the controls to operate at full power or ratio the power and the modeling light down one stop (-1) or two stops (-2). The flashhead cannot be turned completely off. This flashhead cannot be used in the stopping mode by itself, there must be another flashhead operating at full power or damage to the 2140-C will result. The 2140-C Flashhead comes equipped with a 1000 watt-second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K), 100 watt tungsten modeling lamp, 25' cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand.

2150-C

The 2150-C Standard Bare Tube Flashhead does not contain any controls to ratio the power or the modeling light. It comes equipped with a 1000 watt-second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K), 100 watt tungsten modeling lamp, 15' power cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand, The 2150-C is packaged with a flash tube protector. A reflector is not supplied with the 2150-C but is an available accessory.

2153-C

The 2153-C 3-Way Switching Bare Tube Flashhead contains the controls to operate at full power or ratio the power and the modeling light down one stop (-1) or two stops (-2). The flashhead cannot be turned completely off. This flashhead cannot be used in the stopping mode by itself, there must be another flashhead operating at full power or damage to the 2153-C will result. The 2153-C Flashhead comes equipped with a 1000 watt-second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K), 100 watt tungsten modeling lamp, 25' power cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand, The 2153-C is packaged with a flash tube protector. A reflector is not supplied with the 2153-C but is an available accessory.

2150-FC

The Standard Bare Tube Flashhead does not contain any controls to ratio the power or the modeling light. It comes equipped with a 1000 watt second flash tube (color corrected to 5500'K) cooled by a rear mounted fan. Because of the added fan for cooling this Bare Tube Flashhead is capable of providing 1600 watt seconds of light output power. This unit is also equipped with a 150 watt halogen modeling lamp, 25' power cord, and a mounting bracket with knobs for securing the bracket to a light stand and attaching an umbrella. The mounting bracket has a 3/8" female hole for mounting on a light stand. The 2150-FC is packaged with a flash tube protector. A reflector is not supplied with the 2150-FC but is an available accessory.
